A glimpse of Hazel Tree Interior’s Interior

So, I’m just about bursting with anticipation of opening our doors to Hazel Tree Interiors on 7/10/10. This weekend my long-time friend and collaborator who is painting the mural comes into town to start on Monday, the pieces from the artists and artisans have already started arriving, I’m still meeting more new artists and artisans every day, the building is coming alive, and our lives have started to calm down a bit from the frenzy of activity during the past two months.

I was just strolling around this amazing building (the former Norka Futon building) with my camera and gratitude in my heart.

The fact that we are here, the fact that we are doing what we love, the fact that every day more people hear about and then know that they can also benefit from what we’re doing with the redesign approach and the gallery space…all of it…the more it hit homes just how lucky we are to be here, in this moment in time.

So, these photos are some bits of the eye candy I’m surrounded by to give you a glimpse of what’s to come. We can’t wait for all of you to stop in to see and shop, to discuss your interior projects with regards to picture framing and design, to enjoy the creations of so many talented people whose work and efforts will be gathered under one big old Hazel Tree.
